Dry Cleaning
As with most Australian knitwear for men, dry cleaning is the ideal way to maintain that brand new look in all Australian wool sweaters and garments. At Fratelli, all our knitwear can also be washed by hand or machine washed. Dry cleaning can be performed on all garments regardless of wool apparel design.
Hand Washing

To achieve optimal results, dry cleaning is the best solution. To wash by hand, do so in high quality Wool Mark approved wool detergent only. Try to avoid rubbing the garment and do not bleach. With all Australian knitwear for men, warm rinse and normal spin for one minute only. Do not tumble dry the garment. To dry, lay flat in a shady area. All Australian wool sweaters can be warm ironed. Hand washing can be performed on all garments regardless of wool apparel design.
Warm Machine Washing
It would be difficult to find an Australian wool sweater, corporate wool jumpers, wool vest, wool pullover or wool cardigan in Melbourne that responds as well to warm machine washing as the Fratelli brand of Australian men’s knitwear. For warm machine washing, wash the garment separately with high quality Wool Mark approved wool detergent (gentle wool cycle). Normal spin for one minute only. Do not tumble dry the garment because this can result in shrinking. To dry the Fratelli range of Australian knitwear for men, lay flat and dry in a shady area. All Australian wool sweaters can be warm ironed. Warm machine washing can be performed on all garments regardless of wool apparel design.
